If the name Martin Monk sounds familiar, you’ve probably come across “Happy Tears” the beautiful fashion short film directed by the young film maker starring Alan Cumming and featuring Julian Zigerli‘s last AW collection. On Valentine’s day this year, Monk dropped this beautiful fashion gem in collaboration with designer Hien Le, Interview Magazine, Glashütte Original, and Red Germany. According to Monk, the six minute short film is a exploration of the narrative and aesthetic possibilities of illusive worlds created in fashion and film. Featuring, Hien Le’s AW 14/15 collection against a bewitching backdrop, “Awake” is layers upon layers of beauty.
