Uniforms for the Komische Oper

Esther Perbandt

Last Fall, among a sea of talented Berlin designers, Esther Perbandt won the pitch to create new uniforms for the employees of the Komische Oper. Last night, we stopped by for the unveiling of  the first seven outfits. The challenge was to design outfits suitable for different seasons and bodies. Nevertheless, it was an interesting task for Esther and her team who did a fantastic job of updating the staff’s uniform. “I loved working on something more commercial than I usually design for my customers who visit my shop!”

We think the outfits are reason enough to consider a career at the Komische Oper! What do you think?
