Let’s put all the pastel summer shades to rest, it’s time to rock some deep red hues. This week, we foresee enthusiasts from all over the world fanatically dressing in 50 shades of red, a color suitable for every male and female wardrobe. Head to toe is the way to go and we’re presenting you some runway inspiration.
This season we saw a remarkably varied range of red ensembles: cute, yet sexy creations with big bows and short skirts, as seen in those thrilling red-carpet pieces of Viktor and Rolf. Versace on the other hand opted for an intense oxblood shade in a feminine and strong way, while British brand Marques Almeida used soft, burgundy dyed velvet in its casual ready to wear collection.
German designers also couldn’t resist a touch of fire in their designs with Hien Le, Vladimir Karaleev, Schumacher and Perret Schaad delighting us with some stunning monotone looks.
